My sons application is 100% complete and he has been doing the interviews for Sen and Cong Nom's. He called his Sen to reschedule his interview because of a soccer tournament out of state and they told him that his "profile indicates that he already has an appointment" and asked if he was aware of it. How do you verfiy that this is the case? He hasnt been notifed of an appontment.

I also see that a lot of people have been referencing the DODMerb site that shows status. We have logged in to that and do not see a place where that information would be posted. Did they change the DODMERB site or are we looking in the wrong place?

Any gouge would be appreciated....BTW while he doesnt have a Sen or Cong Nomination yet he does have a Presidential nom.

Thanks

I would call the Admissions Office. If he has a Presidential nom, he may very well have an appointment.

DoDMERB should at least have "Status: Qualified" and a date of qualification. Admissions status may also be posted, but not always. At times, it'll appear and disappear again. For example, my "Subagency: NALOA" status was up for about a week, then mysteriously disappeared.

You can also check with your BGO. However, be forewarned that BGOs are typically the LAST to know about an appointment.

Also, be sure the MOC's office isn't confusing an LOA with an appointment.

Appointment letter received.

The call to the Senators Office must have been just at the right time. Yesterday the coveted Large Brown Envelope with the appointment offer arrived. Needless to say we were very happy for him.

Thank you all for your answers and suggestions. LOTS of Credit to our BGO whom we credit for the advice to get the package in ASAP because of the rolling admissions. He submitted a complete package in July and with a presidential nomination limited spots are available. Thank you COL T!!

What type of presidential nomination was it? Disabled/KIA/MIA/or 8 years AD?
And how long did it take for you to get the appointment since you finished the application?
