I wanted to know if I could use the presidential nomination for more than 1 service academy. I am applying for USNA and USAFA and can I use that nomination between the two?

Lets say I apply for a presidential nomination to USAFA and USNA will that work or do I only get 1?

If you are eligible for a Presidential nomination, then I believe you can receive a Presidential nomination to both USAFA and USNA. There is no limit to the number of Presidential nominations issued. However, there can only be 100 appointments per year for each SA from the Presential nominations.

You can have presidential nominations for multiple academies. My son has a presidential for both USNA and USMA.

The "definitive answer" (as the poster above me stated by default with his son) is that anyone eligible for a Presidential nomination is eligible for that nomination to any/all SA's.

Of course, that doesn't apply to USCGA...they have their own method...and it's TOUGH!

You have to send separate requests for the presidential nomination to each of the academies to which you are applying. You can find a standard form/letter on each academy website/application handbook to do so.
