I submitted my nom app to my congressman during September and have not heard back ever since. I did email his office and was told nom interviews will happen by the end of November- this was a few weeks ago. Now, I continue to wonder what will happen.

I don't want to bug his office but feel like there might be a break in communication somewhere.

If you want a clear and simple answer, call his office. Someone there should be able to tell you exactly what's up. :thumb: I hope you didn't miss an interview!

I agree contact your MOC. Most MOC's have a person dedicated only for noms. That is their job and they can give you a definitive answer if you were selected for an interview.

I contacted his office just to find out they were simply behind in scheduling but they did give me a date.

Glad you got your answer Navy2016. In this age of Google and anonymous forums like this, direct communication is still the way to get many specific answers. If in doubt candidates, just CALL.
