I went to look at my candidate file for West Point today, and I saw under nominations received it says:
AR62 Date posted Dec 9, 2011
AR62 Date posted Dec 9, 2011

I don't know if this means I received a nomination or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you feel like you stumbled upon your parents' stash of Christmas gifts?? Congrats!! You have a nom! :thumb: You will likely get a call or letter in the upcoming days to inform you of what you just figured out. Try to act surprised!

Thank You, Ya i'm pretty excited. That just puts me one step closer to the dream. I guess the next step is just to wait and hope I get an appointment.

The way I am reading AR 62 is one of the senators for Arkansas. Usually House of Representative starts with 0.

what does the "SUPN28" code mean? on my portal, it says i received this nomination on Dec 14, 2011.

Superintendent, not sure about what 28 means

My guess is that the 28 means that it is the 28th of the 50 noms that the Supe can give.

You must be a recurite athlete or a prepster
What? I was not recruited, and I go to a public high school.

Could be a mistake, might want to check with your liasion officer or the admissions office.

Nominations are governed by the law, so check the link below to see if you fall under any of the Sup's nomination category

Not sure why it would be a mistake. The Supe's nom is an 'At Large' nom.
clamelken2 has a LOA so my guess is that he/she did not receive a MOC nom and the SUPE's nom was given.

Could be he/she is an underrepresented group, and therefore the Sup's nom was given.

Suppose clamelken's Congressman and two Senators already submitted their nominations to West Point . . ..

i think it may be a senator. I thought it was my congressman, but my congressman hasn't sent them out yet hmmmmm.
