Does anyone know when the NJ senators will be announcing their nominations? I skimmed through this forum and last year people didn't hear anything till like January 20th. I'm hoping this isn't the case this year.
 
I feel your pain, i'm also waiting for NJ. I called my congressman's office and they explained that they have until January to submit their Noms. Nj seems to wait until last minute to send them out... So sometime in January may be correct. All you can do it wait, you never know though. :D
 
Yea I emailed my congressman's office a couple days ago and they replied that they will inform us in the first week January. This stinks cause originally they said late December/early January. I was hoping for December. Oh well, we'll hear eventually.
 
Last year I received a nomination from Senator Lautenberg and I didn't find out until the first week of February. It was shown in my online status page for USAFA. I didn't receive any notification in the mail or by email that I received it, nor did I receive any notification from Senator Menendez that I did not receive a nomination from his office. New Jersey is always one of the last states to award nominations. It stinks :/
 
Last year my DS rec'd his call from his congressman on New Years Eve and then another nomination a week laster! He was QNS last year for AFA and West Point and has reapplied this year. Rec'd a 4 yr AROTC and is currently a freshman in college. Loves it but one more try can't hurt! Hopefully soon! Only a few more weeks.
 
Just checked ds page.... Nothing yet....congrats! Did u get it from sen or rep?
 
I'm from the NJ-07 district, and it really doesn't say where I got it from. on the portal, it just says the code for the nomination and the date. But its must have been from my local rep. Did you two receive an LOA? jw. Best of luck to you guys, should hear something from them before Christmas!
 
Nice! I'm from the same district, but applied to USNA. My nomination from last year is dated December 30. Good to hear you got yours! No LOA, but I do have a presidential.
 
Has anyone who applied to USNA from NJ-07 heard from Congressman Lance or Senator Menendez yet?
 
Got the call yesterday from Congressman Rush Holt that I got a nomination to both USNA and USMA
 
Congrats! DS also got a call yesturday from Rush Holt. DS got the nomination to USMA and AFA. No LOA so it might be NWL like he was last year. Didn't do well in one class this past semester in college and is retaking it in January. This might hurt his chances but what will be will be. He is on a 4 Year AROTC scholarship currently.
 
Congrats Guys! Has anyone else heard anything from Congressman Holt 12th District?
 
Yes, I got a call on 27 December (from Congressman Holt himself!) telling me that I got a nomination to USAFA. I'm pretty sure all of Holt's nominees have been notified, as I have a friend who knows that he didn't get a nomination from him. :/
 
does anyone know what a SUPN28 code for a nomination means? I already have one on my portal that says NJ07, and the other one i have no idea where it came from:confused: regardless, its a nomination, not complaining, just curious!:biggrin:

Just received my nominations from Congressman Jon Runyan's Office (NJ-03) yesterday for United States Military Academy, United States Air Force Academy and United States Merchant Marine Academy. Now I just wait!
