I was invited to the CVW at the end of January. I know that many candidates receive their invitation by mail, but I received an email from my RGO saying that my BGO requested I go to this CVW. What does that mean opposed to receiving a letter in the mail? DOes this form of invitation suggest that I might not have been invited otherwise?

I don't think so, our son got an e-mail invitation from his regional director back in November, I don't think it matters if comes via e-mail or regular mail.

You should get one for you to take to the gate and show the guards. I got an email one confirming my visitation and one in the mail about 2 weeks before CVW for me to take to USNA.
My CVW was back in December.

Yea I got a confirmation letter attached to the email but nothing yet in the mail. I guess I should expect one closer to the actual weekend.

Thanks!
