Hey everyone,
I'm a Senior ROTC cadet and a USMA-16 candidate from NYC and I just received a principal nomination from my congressman. I contacted both my FF Liaison and Maj. Belmont in admissions and it SEEMS that I've been 3Q'd (I didn't receive any official notification, but my FF Liaison (a USMA grad himself who has been the FF Liaison for my school the last 5 years or so) said that I'm essentially waiting for a BFE). With nothing official, I'm not quick to get all giddy about it, but I trust his judgement. And Maj. Belmont said that I wouldn't be staring at my mailbox for too long as I wait to hear any results.
Hypothetically, if the admissions board meets this Tuesday and I get reviewed , how long will it take after I've been reviewed for appointment / NWL slot / denial? I don't want to jump the gun here, but I'm a bit anxious about the decision.
If anyone is curious, I'm majoring in Psychology here in the city, but if I manage to make it to USMA, I think I'd major in Defense and Strategic Studies and then try to pursue a commission as either Field Artillery or Military Intelligence officer
