When my son was turned down for USAFA, he accepted his scholarship to Notre Dame. In the face of great disappointment, he picked himself up by the bootstraps and marched on. He had to put in perspective his goals which was to be a pilot in the Air Force. This wonderful Friday morning his ROTC Colonel called, he just received a pilot slot! Phewy.......one door closed another flew open. It helped he continued community service hours, heavy course loads with double majors and maxed out his Air Force tests. But as you are all waiting for your news.....some good, some heart breaking. Please remember, "It ain't over until the fat lady sings!" Keep Working

"It ain't over till it's OVER" is the version I always tell my son. The concept is as true as granite.

Congrats to your son and best to you!
