Do middle school grades matter? Do the academies look at middle school grades?

In terms of college applications in general, no. But grades are grades and matter of course!

The academies only look at achievements and grades from 9th-12th grades, but what you do in middle school sets you up for what you do in high school, and its never too early to start preparing. But don't forget to enjoy high school, because I've got 4 months left til I'm done and nowhere near enough time to appreciate everything I took for granted along the way.

I'm not even sure you can request a middle school transcript for a college.

As jlwilkes101 said, what you do in Middle School sets you up for high school. Meaning being placed in honors classes freshman year.
