Can I do the one mile run on a tread mill? Because its snowing hard outside. Also do the results simply have to be post marked by the deadline?

Would it be possible to do aerobic testing on something other than running? Would a bicycle test work?

After looking a little bit into the OP's posting history, his question is actually pertaining to the Presidential Physical Fitness Test (the one you take in HS) that was needed to be submitted with his AROTC scholarship application, as opposed to the APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) which is taken by ROTC Cadets and Army personnel.
For this particular test (Presidential Physical Fitness Test), there never has been anything to replace the 1-mile run, which it appears that he put off until the last minute. Considering the OP was asking about things ROTC scholarship last June, this does not speak well of the ability to carry out the requirements of the application.
Time to put this thread to rest.
Chill out man^
Oh Please, not you again.
Real mature sir.

Have a nice evening.
bjb2016 -- I assume you are the son, and not the parent, posting above. I suspect you both use the same moniker. If I've got it reversed, pls. let me know.
If you are the son, you have earned a 4 yr. ROTC scholarship per a post from your parent in 10/27. Given that, now is a good time to learn about pecking order, chain of command, and respect earned by those older than you -- even on an internet bulletin board. There is a way that is OK to speak to peers that is not OK with adults.
OK, there, that's all I have to say.
My daughter has been reprimanded for using my account and my password has been changed. However, It is disheartening to see a bunch of adults ganging up on a teenager for her posts.
that happens more than you would think, usually by the applicant child and the parent both having the same UserID and password... it get's confusing sometimes when it is clear the person is either schizophrenic, or it is really two people. My daughter has been reprimanded for using my account and my password has been changed.
