NASS Acceptance

That's awesome! Congrats to him! Do you mind my asking when he submitted his application and what region of the US you are from?

Just got our mail and there is a letter addresses to my DS. Just a plain white envelope and looks like only one sheet of paper inside. Is this what your acceptance looked like or was it in a BFE? I have to wait until he gets home from school:frown:

Reading this from school...sooo eager to get home and check the mail as I applied the first day as well!

My DS also applied the first day. Just held the envelope up to the light and we have good news too:smile: We live in CA and envelope postmarked March 6th. Good luck everyone!

I as well got home to receive a thin (very thin) white envelope from the USNA. fortunately for me I was accepted and am attending session 2.

I remember this time last year my son got into NASS. It was an incredible experience and made up his mind about wanting to go to USNA. He recently found out he will be an instructor at NASS this summer! Good luck to you all!

Great news, everyone. I remember how excited we all were when my DS was accepted last year. NASS cemented his decision to go as well. He came back PUMPED, and he is a pretty mellow, judicious fellow. A year later, we're just waiting for I-Day! Keep working hard, juniors!:thumb:

Got my acceptance to session three :D I applied the first day and am in Georgia (if any one cared to know....).

hey everyone the letter says "you must pay online using your candidate number (stated above)" but all I see are 4 rows of characters on the top right of the letter.

The bottom row is the date, the first row is a 4 digit number, second row says "SO-02) and the third row is a 6 digit number. What is the candidate number???

My DD got her acceptance letter today too, for Session I
(she applied in early February, and we are from MA)

Facebook Page

I started a facebook page for all of those who applied for NASS 2012 a few months ago, and now that acceptance letters are going out I figured I'd invite y'all to the page. We've talked about nominations, CFA, NASS, etc. It's a place for the Class of 2017 to talk about the steps of the USNA application process and preparation for both NASS and USNA.

Thanks, and Congrats to those who have received their acceptance letters!

Hey everyone! I applied to the Summer Seminar about a week ago, so I do not expect new of my acceptance/declination anytime soon, but I was wondering what kind of stats those who got accepted have. I'm worried that my PSAT scores are low and I would love to see what the scores of those being accepted are.

Any advice is helpful.

Thank you!
