Website status has not changed, however we were instructed to have Medical exams done. DODMrb deemed DQ due to history of cholesteoma, ear surgery 10 years ago. Needs tympanoplasty to correct perforation in eardrum. Saw ENT today, plan to have surgery ASAP to correct. If awarded 4 yr schol. and have surgery prior to 120 days before starting school in fall will scholarship be valid with waiver? If not, can it be deferred to 2nd semester or following year?

Traditionally they have until the end of the first semester to get the medical waivers and remedials cleared up. You would need to talk to the PMS at the school to see if that timeframe can be extended.

If your S/D does not receive a scholarship they can join ROTC and they will have until the end of their sophomore year to get everything cleared up so they can move onto the Advanced Course and become contracted.
