Scholars Appointee's

I am looking to contact any fellow CGAS. I know there is a facebook page for those receiving appointments to the Academy Class of 2016, but is there a site that is geared more towards those attending the Prep Schools next year? I would really like to get to know some of the other Scholars ahead of time.

Congratulations on the CGAS appointment. There is a facebook page set up at https://www.facebook.com/groups/14986475457/ . You can also search USCGA Scholars Program in Facebook to find it. We have pictures from the schools, as well as some contact information.

My son is a CGAS appointee but I don't know if he has joined the facebook page.

Congrats to your CGAS appointment!

My DS is on a waiting list, so we may not know for a month or longer. We are working on plan B since most colleges want to know if you are attending by May 1st.
He is a lacrosse player, and was disapointed when he was informed that he would not be part of the class of 2016, but no news is good news for now.

Great idea to get to know your fellow CGAS before you guys arrive at the academy for orientation in late July.
