I just got my results back on my review and I have been disqualified for astigmatism. I looked up what the limits are and I am over them of course. I will be applying for a waiver for this and was wondering if I could get an idea on what my chances are for a waiver. My R eye is -4.25 and L is -3.25. Both are correctable to 20/20 individually and I can function and fight without my glasses. I'm trying for the Green to Gold Non Scholarship option to attend The Citadel. Is there anyone on here who can give me an idea if there is any hope in this?

DODMERB Waiver question for vision

I have astigmatism of about -3.5 in both eyes and was able to get a waiver for USNA.
I don't know if my specific example would be applicable to you (your eyes are worse, and USNA is Navy), but I can tell you it is certainly possible.
That is something I have noticed on this forum. That each case is different and you never know until you try. Anyone else have any experience with this?
