I was just wondering how long everyone has before I-day. I get out May 4th, so I will have a long break between the end of school and Plebe Summer. However, I know that not all schools are like this, so I was wondering how long all the other appointees summer will be.

I get done May 11th with finals, but the rest of my class is not done until the 25th. I lucked out big time! I will definetly be enjoying my time while still preparing for USNA!

I graduate May 26th. For the most part, class up until then. Two of the weeks are more or less blowoff weeks, full of senior meetings or something like that. A pretty decent summer, I'd say. Especially since I reckon I'll enjoy it as much as I can.

June. 20th.

I am so very sad.

All of my classes are AP classes (minus NJROTC, but that isn't exactly a difficult class), so the curriculum is done before the tests in May. Last few weeks until June should be easy, but there's always a couple of teachers that keep the rigor going up until the end.

graduation June 2. I might just skip graduation to get an extra day off.

Don't skip graduation. It isn't like you have to because it conflicts with I-Day. You'll always regret it if you skip it.

To the OP:

And your parents would really like to see you "walk!" At least, I wanted to see mine. Now, four years later, several family members are no longer here to go to Commissioning, or are unable to do so. We are very glad they were there for HS grad

Don't skip graduation. It's like 3 hours you'd probably waste doing something stupid anyways.

Besides, it's poor form to go to graduation parties without going to graduation.

last day is really 25 May, but graduation is 10 June. 18 days of summer? I'd take that, if, and only if, the nineteenth day was I-day ;)

This is based on poor phrasing: I think you will find this will seem to be one of the longest summers you will experience, especially with the I-Day leadoff.
