Grad Week!! I want to take a second and thank those who were instrumental in helping me navigate these last 47 months (longer, if I count the months on here prior to RDay): momof2cadets (who is now a real life friend as well), JustaMomof4, USNA69 (I love this guy and I hope he sees this), majormattmason, Scoutpilot (now a friend and mentor to my son), all the admins, and to all who have gone before, I thank you. To those just beginning the journey: these are good people and they will help you along the way.

God bless all here.

Mom of 3 Boys. You should be proud! Job well done, and congratulations to your son.

Congratulations. Hard to believe it has been four years already. Best wishes to you and your soon to be 2LT. USNA seems like such a long time ago, huh?

You will never let me forget that, will you? I've been there twice w/ mine for competitions; I stand by my opinion that they are just darling in their little sailor suits.

Congratulations!
Those 47 months just fly by - don't they.
Enjoy all the festivities and be sure to let us know all about it when you get back.
Would love some words of wisdom for next year. :thumb:

Well, ir's here...

For the class of 2012,

Thank you for serving. Thank you for protecting us. Thank you for deciding that you will go wherever and whenever because our country asks you to.

I want to say to all of the 2012 grads, that starting next Tuesday this will be the best week of your life...come next Tuesday it is a different story, you can't claim "silly me" I am just a cadet....your life will change!

To you God Bless, and God Speed!

For the parents of the class of 2012,

Thank you for raising and supporting these fine individuals who are willing to put their lives on the line for our country.

Bring that box of Kleenex.

I would also like to extend to special congratulations to a Midshipmen Class of 2012, USNA with the initials of JQN, from the Harrisburg, PA area thanks so much for wanting to serve the greatest in the world. The United States of America. You make me extremely proud to be an America.

Awwww, thanks, my friend! Honestly though, it's been my pleasure. You have been there for me as well.
Your son is a poster boy for West Point. He's had a great career and I'm sure will carry it over to Ft Rucker.
You are a great mentor and resource - stick around and pay it forward to the newbies!
Have a great weekend - all smiles and no tears! - they ruin the photos!!!

Congratulations all around! But don't disappear from the forum --we need you here!

Congratulations to your son, enjoy graduation. I think I put the stress test on the camera during my son's graduation and commissioning. Our son's will most likely meet at Ft. Rucker.

Congratulations to all those graduating.
