Does anybody/anyone provide a transportation service for arriving cadets to get from COS to one of the two hotels that the academy will pick up from on the 28th? Not sure if my son just needs to hail a taxi or what. I know the actual hotel does not run a shuttle van.

I would assume there will be other appointees in the position as yours so there will be plenty of people going that way.

Pretty sure the AOG provides transportation to the Doolittle Hall (AOG building) for those appointees doing the AOG Bed & Breakfast program.

Highly, highly recommend that program -- and should still be able to sign up for it on AOG site. Small fee for it - but not as much as a hotel -- and the host family will pick up your child at either airport or AOG building, take them home for the night, then bring them to in-processing in the AM.

There will likely be others in the same position. I am sure that any family that has room in a car would gladly transport any appointee to Doolittle hall. I am not sure what hotel your cadet is stay in or his report time. I will be at the Academy Hotel, if this works for you PM me and we can try and work something out. My DS is a Cobra and will need to be there before 0730.

Thanks for all the responses. He's staying at the Drury Inn, which is one of the two hotels they mentioned that they would pick up appointees. He has a 7:45 time, and is also a Cobra!
