2016 Computers

Current/Past Cadets,

Have your issued computers had webcam type things built into them? I've heard multiple cadets talking about using oovoo, etc., but I don't know if they've bought cameras separately or just used built in ones.

My boyfriend wants to get a webcam for me as a going away present so I can use it during the academic year, but I don't want him to waste the money if the computer I am issued already has one.

Your computer will most likely come with an integrated webcam. Ours (2015) came with webcams, so I expect your classes computers to be no different

The past five years of laptops have had webcams. That's not to say that it's guaranteed that yours will, but I would bet money that it does. Usually they send out information about the computer model beforehand to candidates. Not always though.

If that's the case then the 2013 ones are fairly well hidden because mine doesn't have one.
