Indoc

I am a bit disappointed that the daily Indoc photos are not posted on the Picasa photo page as they were last year. M/N Antonelli did a fantastic job last year with posting hundreds of photos daily during Indoc. Now that he has graduated, I hope someone steps up and can get that going. As a parent, it's nice to get that glimpse of our DS/DD during this stage of the game.

I spoke to the photographer at Indoc (really nice kid)and he told me they would be up when he has time. He is an EMT and has other duties during Indoc.

Deepsea, great pictures as always! The waterfront is the most interesting and fun part of KP! :thumb:

Keep 'em coming!!!!!

Guys, who ever is doing all the photos.... THANK YOU! This really means
So much to us. Everything at the academy is completely new to my wife
And I, and the brief glimpses of the daily activities comforts us to know what
Our son is going through. We are so excited for him and all the rest of Class of
2016. Keep the photos coming!!!!! You guys are awesome.

In anticipation of the question: "What's it mean when my DS/DD has a piece of paper in an armband on their arm?"

Those are limited duty "chits" aka "sick chits" that let the drill instructors know that for whatever reason that Plebe Candidate has a temporary limitation - for example perhaps they have bad blisters so they don't have to run or something like that...

I love the Picasa pages, you can download the high quality images. I did that last year, I downloaded all of them and then sorted through to find the ones with my DS in them.

Facebook normally cuts the size, which is fine for viewing them online but makes really poor quality prints.

Many, many thanks to Waterfront for the fabulous training and pictures. I am sure the P/C's are enjoying their time with you:smile: and deepsea for religiously posting the pics:thumb:

Great pictures! Kudos to the photographer. I can't take a picture when my subject is standing still and so am I. :thumb:

Awesome pics of a beautiful day even with the sails often over-trimmed but hey it's only Indoc.
