Best Army boots?

Does anyone have any info on good Army boots? The issued boots are heavy and are not particularly comfortable to run in. I know it sounds like nitpicking, but I am on the Ranger Challenge team and put a ton of mileage on my boots. Most people on my RC team just bought their own. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Cadet Delahanty, who also participates in Ranger Challenge, favors Nike Special Field Boots for ruck marches, etc. He is unable however to comment on their utility in wet conditions.

I can almost run better in my Nike boots than I can in sneakers.
They are by no means water proof, and they are not durable.

Nike have been popular, as well as the "light" boot approved for entering West Point cadets in this year's Boot Letter: Khyber Mountain Hybrid boot by Tactical Research (div. of Belleville)

Rockport makes a great boot. Used them on both deployments. I even use them now on the farm.
