Checked my PW car rental today, and found that prices have dropped dramatically since my first reservation was made. Thrifty had full size rates in COS for around $18 a day. May want to check your reservations.

You must have gotten lucky, I just rechecked my reservation through Denver and it would cost me more money. Maybe because you are going through COS? Good for you to get a cheaper rate!!:thumb:

Rental rate

Just booked via Hotwire a full size car from Alamo at DEN (Wed to Tues) for a a total of $214.45 (including tax). Not sure it was that great of a deal, but seemed okay to me. (Note: just checked cost if booked directly..$224.00. Hence I saved myself two happy meals.)

Another benefit of the forum....you just saved me $38 off my previous reservation...many thanks Navy! Why are the rentals so ding dang expensive at DIA?

Try Advantage. I had good luck with them when I dropped my DD off for I-day. Full size car for the price of a compact with satellite radio. This time around flying in Sunday morning and leaving late Tuesday...$162 for all three days.

I just checked again thru Expedia and saved even more money from last weeks reservation. Full size for $119 for Wed night - Tues am.
So keep checking!

And I just got a full size at Enterprise (Denver) for $118 for the same period (Wed. pm - Tues. am )
