My DS just finished everything for the NROTC MO scholarship. Just in time for first board. He did last interview with a Major last week by phone. This has been a pretty lengthy process. The website now says Application has been submitted online
Your application is at the Marine Corps District for Board Selection.
Items waiting to be processed:
Other Teacher/Coach Eval
Transcripts
Officer Interview
Photo
Does this look correct? Just wondering. All of it has been done and submitted. It would also be nice to here from some others that are at the same point.

In my DS's experience (NROTC hopeful), any items waiting to be processed were not received. Based on my son's application experience- it looks the teacher eval is not uploaded. Verify teacher got the link. Same for Officer interview. Verify that computer upload was performed and saved. Is there an Officer contact on your son 's application? If so- double check everything with that officer.
Have your son verify that school mailed transcripts. Application is not complete until there are no items waiting to be processed.

Thanks so much for your reply. My DS asked the OSO/Captain if he had everything and the Captain said he did. The photo had to be retaken because the Sargent that took the first one did not take it in front of the correct background. The teacher evaluations were emailed and two of the three teachers/coach told my DS that they had sent them back. The third claimed he did not receive the questionnaire so the recruiting Sargent gave my DS a paper copy to have him fill out. My DS hand delivered it. The OSO/Captain told me he had ACT, SAT, scores and school transcript. Everything has been done and received by the OSO. That is the reason for my concern. I will give it a few more days and if the page does not update, I will call the OSO. Thanks again for your reply. How did your experience go?

I sent you a PM. Check out the ROTC threads. You'll find this site invaluable.

I can't send back a PM reply yet until I have 15 posts. as soon as I do I will reply to your PM. I am very interested. Thanks for your communication.

USMC Board Selection

It is my understanding that the early board meets on Oct. 13 this year.

I applied for M.O. NROTC last year and saw several "missing" items on my application status page as well. In my case at least, the items were not missing and my application was processed normally. Just to be sure, I checked with my OSO though. Because the status page takes so long to update, you'll likely hear via a phone call or letter whether your son received the scholarship or not before you see the update online.

Thanks so much for the info. I spoke with the OSO this morning and he stated that he had everything and didn't know why the status page hadn't updated.

Finally status has updated. All items disappeared. Now it just says,"At Marine Corps District ......" All we can do now is wait. I was told the early board meets on Nov.13th. Hopefully we will here in the next few weeks. My DS got his acceptance letter to his first and second choice schools this past week.

We were notified that my DS did not receive a NROTC MO scholarship earlier this week. This was from the early Nov. board. He will automatically be rolled to the Feb. board. My DS hates it but is now focusing on Texas Tech PLC program. If he does get chosen in Feb. he will readjust then. He had sports, leadership, great teacher/coach evals, great OSO interviews and a 286 PFT. The 3.0 gpa, 1040 SAT, and 25 ACT must be what hurt. He is still motivated though.
