Hello all,
I am in PA19 which is a very competitive district. I had a meeting with my RC during my CVW and got a good look into where I stand. About 40 kids applying, I am in the top 5, and could go up further when my new class rank comes in with new grades, and the upcoming Dec. 1 SAT. He made it clear that my district is very competitive. I have an 800 R but if I can get my Math to 750+ I could get in the top 3 I would wager. My RC ran some simulations but I don't quite remember what the variables were. However, I digress;
I interviewed very well with my Congressman (and Senator, but that is unrelated to my district), and hopefully will receive a nomination, but if I am not #1 or don't get the principal nomination I won't get an appt. through that nom. What do you guys think my chance on the National Waiting List would be?
Also, since I am ranked pretty high in a very competitive district, would I also be ranked well for Presidential nominations?
