Last Saturday I received a letter instructing me to complete a "repeat routine urinalysis." This afternoon I had some time to work on it, so I went online to the same concord site as I used to arrange my original appointments, and proceeded to log on and go through the steps to get to the scheduling point. There was no institution listed, so I called the supplied number and got in touch with a Concord representative who found the closest lab and updated the page. So far so good.
Then I tried calling the supplied phone number for LabCorp. The number was not for a live person, but directed me to corporate website to schedule an appointment. During the course of the appointment scheduling there were some questions which I found difficult to answer because they did not seem geared toward applicants at all, rather to civilians. I am uncertain what to state as my reason for the appointment (I initially selected "Lab Work" but I didn't know if I should have put "other" or even something entirely different). Later there were (required) questions about insurance/payment which did not seem to have "Tricare," "Concord," "DoDMERB," "Military," "Government," or anything else related to the situation listed as options. I finally chose "Other".
Before submitting I called another number I found on the LabCorp site, getting in touch with a representative who was clueless about my situation even after I described it fully. She thought I was supposed to do a drug test and kept saying that the business that sent me there should have provided an account number of some sort, though no such thing was listed among the information provided on Concord.
Finally I just submitted what I originally thought I should do, but only because I have the option of modifying or cancelling the appointment at no cost, and I liked the time slot I managed to get. Does anybody know if I did it right? If not, what should I change it to?
