Do admissions board see notes from a nomination interview?

Slightly convoluted question, but I'll give some background. I recently had two nomination interviews, one that went exceptionally well and went that went okay, but not fantastic. I just found out that the latter awarded me a nomination, which I am thrilled about. However, I'm unlikely to get a nomination from the other source, just because of how competitive my state is.

What I'm interested in knowing is if the Admissions Board has access and uses the nomination interview to decide on giving principal nominations? There's really nothing I can do, one way or the other, except give me another thing to fret and worry about.

Any answer would be appreciated. If I've messed up any of my facts, feel free to correct me: I'm wrong frequently

From what I remember, principal nominations are chosen by the congressperson, not the academy.

Right. I think what OP is wondering (unnecessarily concerned) about is for an unranked slate, where admissions will select the appointee. What does the admissions board see of the nomination interviews/materials?

Interesting question. Unfortunately I don't know the answer. I expect the MOC's coordinator can tell him what it is they actually submit besides a list of names if someone here doesn't chime in.

I suppose they could submit other information with the slates, but WP does not ask for any documentation supporting the MOCs choices for their slates.
The MOC has complete control over who they put on the slate.
With P-nom slates, they can put whoever they want as the P-nom.
With Competitive slates (slate submitted with 10 names with no listing of who they prefer for their slot), WP will choose the slot winner by WCS. The candidate with the highest WCS on the Competitive slate will win the slot.
Does that answer your question?

Yes, it does, thank you. I have no idea whether or not my congresswoman ranks, so I think I'm getting confused in the differences between each MoC I've heard about. I'll suppose I'll find out if I'm the P-nom or on the NWL in due time.

Thanks so much!
