Slightly convoluted question, but I'll give some background. I recently had two nomination interviews, one that went exceptionally well and went that went okay, but not fantastic. I just found out that the latter awarded me a nomination, which I am thrilled about. However, I'm unlikely to get a nomination from the other source, just because of how competitive my state is.
What I'm interested in knowing is if the Admissions Board has access and uses the nomination interview to decide on giving principal nominations? There's really nothing I can do, one way or the other, except give me another thing to fret and worry about.
Any answer would be appreciated. If I've messed up any of my facts, feel free to correct me: I'm wrong frequently
