B in NROTC Class...

Hi, I currently go to one of senior military college(due to privacy I cant tell you where)

I am a mechanical engineering major therefore I had to take all science and math classes except one english Class and NROTC class.

This semester I got 3.88 GPA. I got all A's at every class except NROTC class. I got B in that class.

Since this is about the Navy and i got the worst grade in it. Do you think it will look really bad? Thank you
 
hmmm ... don't know.

What you already know is that it won't look the way you and USNA would prefer.

Were I a betting man, in light of your otherwise outstanding performance, this won't be an appointment killer.

The far greater problem is the small and diminishing number of college "vets" being appointed. The number is half of what it was a few seasons back.

Congrats on a great job. Keep it up, no matter what the immediate situation brings. You are obviously a stellar candidate no matter if you're appointed or otherwise. And remember, the end game is NOT USNA. You are well on your way to becoming an outstanding USN officer. Keep your eye on THE ball. And good luck! You're welcome. :thumb:

Whistle Pig - Out of curiosity, why is the number of college "vets" being appointed diminishing?
