Letter from Admissions

Did anyone else get a letter today about being qualified and how West Point has eliminated rolling admissions for this cycle?

I did, and other than having to wait until February 26th is this a good sign? and is this a separate letter from being on the NWL?

DS received that letter last week. Signed by his RC. In early January DS was told by RC to expect letter stating that he is qualified. Letter also said he would be placed on NWL as there were no rolling admissions and appointments would go out starting Feb. 26 with a limited time to respond. Letter also stated appointments may be tendered up until a couple of days before R Day! It was a TWE but not the dreaded TWE.

Did you DS have an LOE?

That is exactly how me letter went, except for it was signed by Major Betty Myrthil.

Yes, DS has an LOE and MAJ Myrthil is minority outreach officer on admissions.
 
Same Letter

dcarmy17,

DS has LOE, 3Q'd, "principal" nomination and received that same letter last month. GOOD LUCK! :biggrin:
 
I have an LOE too! I have been working with Major Myrthil and another officer for the past several months. Thanks and good luck!

Sounds like letters came from the same person. Did anyone recieve a letter from Maj. Ghazal, Northeast? Anyone not a Recruited Athlete or minority that recieved a letter?

DS not a recruited athlete, not a minority. Letter came from MAJ Turner, Southeast.

Got a letter from MAJ Ghazal in mid-January. I am not a minority/recruited athlete.
 
i am from the northeast, I received my letter in mid January, and I have an LOE. I am not a recruited athlete
 
I received a letter from my RC dated February 5th. Stating I was qualified and all that same jazz. No LOE, not a recruited athlete or minority. One more hurdle!
 
My DS received same letter from his RC in early December. Great Lakes Region. No LOE.
 
My DD received the same letter today from the SW RC. She completed her file on January 21, no LOE and is not a recruited athlete.

She does a competitive nomination. (our Congressman did not issue a principal nomination)
