BFE #2?

Hey all,

I received the first envelope containing my offer of appointment which I have accepted, but there wasn't much information in there; just a bunch of generic stuff. Will I receive a second mailing with more info later now that I have accepted my appointment?

Last year there was a second BFE. It maybe too early at this point. I can't remember if it was a physical letter or just a virtual one to be downloaded. I'm thinking it was a download. Exciting times. June will be here in no time. Enjoy each day.

Yes you will get more information and forms after it is a finalized for the class of 2017. Also they will show up on your portal as well.
Your letter should have said (see below)

You will receive a package containing valuable instructions and additional information (it will arrive via US Mail). This information will also be posted on your portal when the final in-processing details are complete.

First... congratulations!!!

Second... I can confirm that the "BFE" that my DS just recieved today wasn't so B or F either. It was a single letter of congratulations, then a promise of more info to come...

If you accept this offer, we will send you an appointee kit containing additional travel and inprocessing
information. In the interim, you will also receive additional information through the mail regarding your
offer. Please read all of the information carefully.

So seems like that's the way it might work this year, perhaps as a cost-saving measure?

Thanks for the info guys. I suppose I was looking for more of a timeline (i.e. 2 weeks after acceptance of appointment, May/June, etc.), since we have about a three week mail delay, but I suppose all that is important is that it does come, and not when.

Should be around 3 weeks after you accept you will get the next one.
 
MY counselor told me a while back that they hadn't started putting together the second packages yet. It should be sometime in March.
