Hello all! After I received my remedial letter for my asthma on the 15th I was able to schedule my appointment for a Methaccholine Challenge Test for yesterday. After completing the test the results were great! I was no where near the border line on my last dose. The doctor said that they should have them faxed to DODMERB on Friday. Does anyone know how long the wait is from here and if I have a great chance to receive a waiver from USMA? Thank you for reading this!

I posted this on the DODMERB section, but I wanted to get you all's opinion as well.

I will start out by telling you what I have learned since going through first a remedial for asthma, and secondly going through the waiver process for another issue with my DS. Each situation/candidate is looked at individually and how their issue may affect them in the future or how it has affected them in the past. So my DS results my vary from your results. That being said my DS had a remedial for asthma that we were anticipating so we had the Methocholine test done long before the DodMerb was even administered to candidates and submitted the results to the physician at the required physical. For some reason Dodmerb did not receive them initially resulting in the remedial. I made a call, got a number to fax them to and I believe my DS was qualified that day or the next day. The waiver process was different, but that's another story! Best of luck to you and your situation! :thumb:
