from what i've heard i'm triple Q'd and i have two nominations and i know the bulk of the class is formed in february/march. i'm starting to get nervous though because i haven't heard anything back yet. i did get a NROTC scholarship and i got into the coast guard academy - does that mean that I would be competitive for an appointment?

im just trying to figure out when i should hear by because of the nrotc deadlines and coast guard. i hate not knowing what im going to do and i'd like to know one way or another... anyone else in the same boat?

has anyone received a TWE yet?
 
Many people have not heard from the Academy yet. I am in the same boat and the feeling of uncertainty is there. You just have to be patient in this stage. Before you know it, the end of march will be rolling up and you will most likely know your status. If I end up being rejected, I will begin preparing to reapply next year. :thumb:

If you haven't accepted the NROTC scholarship yet you should do so. It's not a legal obligation at this point and if you later decide to attend an academy you can simply inform NROTC you will not be using the scholarship and will be attending an academy instead.
 
thank you kinnem, i have done so. obviously the naval academy is my first choice though.

and for the people who private messaged me, i can't reply because i don't have enough posts yet. i'm sorry.
