Summer Seminar and Budget Cuts 2013

Has the USAFA discussed, at all, budget cuts and any possible impact on Summer Seminar? USMA has already pushed back SLE selection a few times and recently announced that, because of budget cuts, it COULD be reduced to only one week or canceled.

We have not heard the same from USAFA. However, with SS plane ticket purchases looming, thought I would see if any discussion have been made in that regard.

(And yes...our oldest will contact USAFA directly about this Monday before purchasing a ticket to get to SS!)
 
The USAFA Summer Seminar is funded through non-appropriated funds (that is, the tuition you pay covers the costs) so budget cuts should not affect it. You are safe to purchase your ticket.

Thanks Insider. Our oldes worked on flights this weekend and should book something today or tomorrow. Not as straight forward to get into COS as she thought...lots of connecting flight options!
