Does anyone know how often the admissions board is meeting to make these decisions? I heard somewhere they were meeting every Tuesday, is this the same now that the decisions are being made or are they meeting more frequently? Just another nervous applicant wondering how often they'll notify people and trying to get an idea of when I might possibly find out.

They meet in the Batcave every Thursday night, actually, with a cold beer for a game of poker. They bet with applicants as poker chips :p

Sorry it didn't answer your question but the thought was humoring for me. A mindset that helped me when I was stressing about not knowing during my 2016 application was "I can't control if or when I get my envelope. I won't stress about it because no amount of worry will get me in any sooner. Instead I'll focus my energy on my application to these scholarships & colleges in case it falls through"

Passed time much faster and I got notified via call as soon as I was about to start several essays for Texas A&M Engineering scholarships. There were several posts about the next notifications and it was concluded that they're going to be much more scattered than these initial 500. There is no next "wave", so you can be notified any time from now until June 29th. Keep strong!

My information from one of the Regional Commanders is that they normally meet each Tuesday. However, based on a variety of factors this sometimes changes to a different day. Also, there have been times (not often) when they had an extra meeting in a week. However, normally, usually, they meet once a week on Tuesday. Offers from that meeting are normally mailed a day or two later.

Haha thanks for the comic relief. The cadet that I shadowed for a day tour said they probably use a ouija board to decide. I guess it's just the waiting game like you said.

Thanks for the info. I haven't contacted my RC about any of this and I am assuming the RCs are up to their eyeballs in paperwork between the Class of 2017 decisions and the SLE selections for the prospective Class of 2018 candidates.
