My son is a Junior in AFRotc. He did not go rated, and now has to decide his six career choices. He was looking at Program Management, Cyberspace operations, Contracting, and Financial Management. We talked about them a bit, and what order he should put them in. I googled them, but couldn't find much about them, he did talk with his cadre and got some information, but I wondered if people here might have more information, or if there was another site where they might get into it in a bit more depth.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I only created this account after I saw your question. I have a couple of documents that will help him out...email me at cdrake6@sycamores.indstate.edu and I will send them to you.

Keep in mind also that certain degrees have requirements on how many course hours you have taken in certain academic areas...

Thank you so much for the information!! It is a great help, not sure if you can post that anywhere on the board, but if you could I am sure it would be a great resource for any cadet trying to figure out what career they want to take up.

Depending on what Drizzie sent you, I also have a packet filled with job information straight from Captains in Active Duty. PM me if you'd like to take a look at it.

Once again, thank you for all of the help. This site is such a great resource. My son is now leaning heavily towards the Cyber Warfare side of thing as a first choice, and is heading to a nearby base to speak with some of the officers in that career.
