analog watch vs digital after bct

can any cadets please post what type of watch they got for after basic, which type they prefer and why? thank you in advance.

i understand that i will not be able to use a watch during basic but for after i planned on having a small simple watch and am now considering getting an analog watch (not with a metal bracelet).
 
...I think that's more of a personal decision. Personally, I like a digital watch because (I think) they are easier to read. Some people might think analog watches are easier to read... It depends on YOU and YOUR preferences.

i actually prefer the analog watch but wasn't sure if i would really be missing out on not having a stopwatch. i will probably end up getting a cheap digital watch just incase i need it for any runs
 
Whichever one you think is better for you.
How is this an academy question?
 
Use a watch where you can see the time quickly.
Personally, I use a digital watch with a large display, so I know what time it is with a quick glance.

You can't be late for anything at the Academy; watches are essential to your life as a cadet.

i wanted to ask what type of watch cadets prefer and to see if the extra functions of a digital watch are useful as a cadet after bct
 
A digital watch with alarm and stopwatch feature to time your runs might come in handy. Otherwise, your cellphone, laptop or position of the sun should give you the time of day:wink:

hahaha let's hope i'll be able to strategically place my sundial right outside my window:shake:
