So, I am currently an AS300 with a scholarship, and I am taking a class that the professor has missed a colossal amount of days, but still thinks he can run the class. I know I would fail this class if I followed it through, but I decided to pass/fail the class. I have gotten conflicting information on how this would affect me if I did not get the credits. To be clear, in pass/failing the class, The only consequence is that on the school's side is that I don't get the credits. It does not affect my GPA. The class is in my major, but is not required and there is no consequence to my academic standing if I do not recieve the credits for this class. One of my friends who is in AFROTC has failed using this method twice, and he is fine, but he is not on scholarship, and is an AS200. If anyone has a clear answer, please let me know.
