Aaron got a letter saying that he was not accepted into USCGA for early decision but put into the regular applicant pool. The letter will get there have faith and Best Wishes

So isnt that a deferral letter??? the regular applicants start getting looked at in February correct (as they are all due 2/1/09)???

Exactly, it is a deferral letter. The key is to make sure that USCGA gets end of first semester senior year grades, new SAT scores, additional letters of recommendation and any awards or recognition received after initial completion of application (any one of these or any combination of these three should be enough to warrant a good second look at the application under regular decision) POSTMARKED by Feb 1, 2009 ( all of this according the admissions counselor my son spoke with).
 
Nothing out here on the south plains of Texas either.
 
i think we can wait till later in the week cuz it takes 2days max to get stuff to us. we must all be in the last group of letters.
