when you register for it do you get a confirmation email right after or how long after you register should you receive it?
also when i submitted the form it took me to this page, which i am wondering if it means my form wasn't submitted or if it's just a problem with the site's theme/coding

It's been a few years for us but here's what I remember from when we registered our DD. We did get an e-mail confirmation but I can't remember if it was immediate. It did contain a copy of the info submitted on the form so you could double check it. There is also a link on the online form that shows an attendance list (if applicant opted to share info) but I believe her name didn't show up on that for a couple of days.

One caution: Once the name shows up on the list, check back again a couple of days before I-day. I did and found that our daughter's name had disappeared from the list. We contacted the AOG (admittedly in something of a panic) the day before she was supposed to depart. They were wonderful with their support and we had confirmation within an hour or so that she'd been matched with a sponsor, a LtCol (& academy graduate) who actually contacted us to verify a couple of hours after that. Ended up a great experience as she hosted another female appointee as well and I believe helped settle any apprehension the girls might have had extremely well. (She even attended A-Day to meet us & visit with our DD.)
