Great news. Very happy for you! This also gives hope to others awaiting a waiver for asthma. Best of luck to all awaiting waivers.

That is AWESOME!!! Excellent news. Your persistence is quite admirable.

Congrats!!!

Just being able to visualize what this looks like makes me happy!

We keep praying!

Thanks Sheriff. I got a call today from Cadet Command. It was an admin for the surgeon. She called to ask me something, then in the middle of the call she says, wait I have it right here. She was referring to the remedial test results AFROTC asked for. (they had granted a waiver already)

I emailed AROTC a copy as well a while back. I politely asked what the current time frame was. She said I should here something in the next 96 hours. That's pretty specific. They said they didn't need him to take any additional tests, they had what they needed.

So, we'll see if that's a good sign or a bad sign. I'll keep you posted!

Mitemom, that's great to hear. See crossed fingers really do work!:shake:

Sounds exactly like my case. I was told yesterday morning I'd know whether or not I was granted a waiver by Friday, and my status was updated to "waiver granted" that afternoon. If you've already got a waiver for AFROTC, you'll probably get one for Army. A spirometry test is a spirometry test. :thumb:

I certainly hope the Army waiver is granted. However, what is waivered for one branch is NOT automatically waivered by another. Do not assume that is always the case.

Correct, that's why I said "probably".

I'm not assuming anything for sure!!! Just hoping and praying. Thanks for giving me some place else to check a couple of times a day!
