Once you are appointed, does USAFA request 7th and 8th semester transcripts?
 
I read in the online instructions to candidates,

"If you sent your transcript during the first semester of
your senior year, you must ensure that your high school
sends us a transcript with seventh semester grades as soon
as they are available."

I sent a 7th semester transcript as it came available. I have not yet been accepted, but I would recommend sending one.
 
I called a few weeks ago and talked to our son's admission counselor. They do want them at the end of the 1st semester and at the end of the year.
 
Don't be surprised if you don't get a reply from a thread that is 2 1/2 years old.
