I'm at Girls State right now, and I talked to one of the Boys State counselor's that was giving an info session on West Point and he said that they both have a lot of points. They are equal to each other, but you only get credit for one of them.

Sad/scary that you can only get credit for one. Boys State is such a great program, but, in no way does it compare to the multi-year. multi-requirement process to reach Eagle Scout. In no way comparable.
That is not correct. You get points on your application for ALL of the various activities you participate in...none of them are mutually exclusive. Whoever said you don't is misinformed.
I agree with time2. I went to Boy's State and am an Eagle Scout and I can assure you that both were used in determining if I should get an appointment. Don't regard everything on these forums as truth, only guidance.
