Am I possibly qualified for the Diversity Visitation Program?

I am a foster kid, and have been since I was seven. I've lived in five foster homes since then, but I stayed in one for about nine years.
And although I am not full native Alaskan, I am registered.
Is there any chance that I might be eligible for the program?

I'm not sure. Please be aware that 'diversity' at the Air Force Academy is not what you would typically expect. It includes categories such as first in family to go to college and from single family home. You should contact your ALO or USAFA directly for further details regarding the program. Best wishes. :thumb:

Here's the simple "answer" for you...

Contact the ALO assigned to your school and tell him/her you'd like to be considered. I actually had a student come to me and do this. I asked: "Why?"

He laid it all out...and I put him in (recommended him for the visit).

He received it...loved the visit, and is now at USAFA's Prep School!

Just do, as the poster above said, remember that USAFA's definition of "diversity" might not be your definition.

and do talk to your ALO.

Okay :) Thanks everybody!! I messaged my ALO and asked about it :)
