Howdy all!

I graduated from USAFA in the late 80s, and flew in the AD AF and AFRES for 24 years.

I went to the USAFA PS, so I was on the 5 year program...and the Dean and I never saw eye to eye.

In the AF I flew the B-52 for about 8 years, and was a UPT instructor at Sheppard for about 14 years.

In addition I was an ALO in the North Texas area for 3 years (I had to give it up due to scheduling constraints)

If I can help, I will answer questions and give opinions...or point to the best location of resources.

As an ALO it seemed that I only talked to prospective USAFA candidates when it was time for their interview...I got very few opportunities to actually mentor someone before they were due the interview...and sometimes too late to fix their 'permanent' records.

So I really recommend all prospective candidates, find out the local ALO or grad and bend their ear...

Glad to have you on board here!
I'm sure your expertise and experience will be valuable to many candidates on this forum.
