Does anyone know when VMI opens their application?

I just got an application in the mail from Norwich, so I'm assuming VMI should open soon.

Indeed, VMI is the most amazing campus, with the most beautiful surrounding area (in my opinion at least )

Yeah there's no beating Lexington. Where else you applying? I'm for sure looking at North Georgia, and a few in-state schools to be safe. I figure they'll give me e scholarship SOMEHWERE at least

George C. Marshall, George S. Patton, Stonewall Jackson, 9 four-star generals, 2 Marine Corps Commandants, 1 Air Force Chief of Staff, and 6 Medal of Honor recipients.

Graduating from VMI guarantees you a spot among these men and many more alumni around the world. Good luck with applications on September 1st, and I'll see you in Ratline C/O 2014

Having trouble accessing online application, probably because September 1st fell on Labor Day Weekend. If anyone CAN access it, let me know!

Patton went to VMI for a year, but graduated from USMA. Jackson never went to VMI (also a USMA grad), but was a professor there.

apparently he hasn't visited The Citadel yet; compare the campuses and surrounding area, its a no brainer.

Vmi c/o 2018

Good luck to everyone applying to any service academys or senior military institutes in this nation. As we all know we should be proud of ourselves because only a select few students from high schools in this country try to achieve great things like this. With that in mind, I just sent my application off to VMI for their early admissions process. I hope to get accepted. If I do does anyone know how nice the campus? Has anyone took a tour of the college? Has anyone completed a overnight stay at Vmi? Who else is applying for the class of 2018? Good luck to everyone and I hope to see you guys on the rat line next August! C/0 2018!

I also applied ED for Fall 2014. I've visited the campus (put some pics on here in the picture section), and it was really nice! It's in a beautiful area of Virginia, an awesome town, and the campus is very old school. Look up pictures on google and you'll see what I mean!

Hopefully I'll see you there!

Well said!

Now that it's around acceptance season:

Does anyone know what to check on our PostView accounts that will say we were accepted? All I see are the review application tabs and my documents tab. Maybe we'll just have to wait for the letter?

On a thread from last year, a forum member wrote that their PostView account changed. I believe if/when you are accepted on the right hand side it will list documents that you need to send to the school. I can't remember when or where I read it but go through old VMI threads. Congrats on your amazing scholarship! I'm sure you will have good news soon from the admissions at VMI!

Strength and Honor,
Answered your PM--Also, if you are anxious and you haven't already called, a phone call to the admissions office isn't a terrible idea... it's how I learned I was accepted.
GOOD LUCK:thumb:
