Medically disqualified

Hi,

I have recently completed my dod physical and eye exam and I have checked on the dodmerb website. I am medically disqualified due to astigmatism and eyes are not correctable to 20/20. Is this a big hinderance?

That key phrase "correctable to 20/20" cannot be emphasized enough. If you can't see (even with help), how can your bullet hit the mark?
 
I don't believe you will be able to commission or enlist unless your vision is correctable to 20/20. Sorry
 
With glasses I can see perfectly though. I think I will get another eye exam to make sure.
 
If you can see 20/20 with glasses then there won't be an issue.
 
What if your vision is 20/15 in one eye, but 20/60 in the other, yet when you are viewing with both eyes you are 20/15 as well?
