Got the skinny from the recruiter on the NROTC board dates today... There are 15 posted dates, the last is April 11. The first five are as noted. Hope this is helpful.

9 - 13 Sept
23 - 27 Sept
7 - 10 Oct
21 - 25 Oct
 
I thought the Navy did not release the dates of their boards, is this new this year.
 
I expect someone spoke outside of class.

Lurkers, keep in mind that these particular board dates are for Navy Option. There are separate boards for Marine Option and Nursing Option.
 
I am waiting for Pflying to come on and ask for the name of the person that released the dates. :shake::shake::shake::shake:

For new posters, the reason I did :shake: was dues to the fact that every yr since I can remember they have come on and read the riot act over the public release of dates. Typically it is right about now that they pop in.
 
Ahhhh

Now I have guilt... They didn't say I could not devulge, sorry to all! This wont happen again, lesson learned.

No worries. You didn't do anything wrong. It's the idiot who told you!!! :eek: And perhaps they are changing something this year. I never really understood why they were so secretive about it anyway. I really think it was a case of "if we don't publish the dates, no one can hold us to them!" :rolleyes:
 
It must not be a secret anymore. The local recruiting office told my son's guidance counselor the dates for the first boards.

It's still makes me uneasy knowing I may have said something I should not have. I'm a bit of a type "A" person so I can beat myself up good when I make mistakes.
 
DS's recruiter told him the dates more than a month ago. Can't be too much of a secret... unless we all have the same recruiter!
 
Our sons recruiter was also very open about the dates. I wouldn't stress over it.

Well I appreciate that you posted the dates, and do hope that you don't get reprimanded....no malintent obviously on your part. But since it is out there now....does the Board meet all week long?
 
and btw...we too heard rumor that the board would meet somewhere in the last week of August....so dont stress too much...it's already "out there".
