Dis-enrolled.. How to get in again?

Here is the story, I was sent home from FT on the last week of FT. It was unjust. Although i received 3 unsats (I take responsibily of that) on my glps so did 3 other cadets. 2 cadets were allowed to stay and I wasn't because I didn't show passion or look like i wanted to be there. I actually enjoyed FT. When i got to JFTC I was told I smile too much in formation and that I needed to change it..something i never have been told. I changed it and the day I got sent home I was told what killed me was that I looked "apathetic". When really I just focusing on not smiling. Also, I was Stando and received a form 17 because the flight wasn't standardized. We haven't been standardized since we got to JFTC and the previous flight stando should have received a form 17 and then me because the flight was standardized. My CTA walked out on my hot seat so she didn't get to hear all the pros that my flight had said about me, that they don't write in their journals. Even my flight from FT feels that it was unjust because they considered my improvement in the flight was fast. They went home back to their dets and some told their commander that they felt it was unfair what had happened.

Is there a way to go back to AFROTC and go to FT next year. One of the reasons I was dropped was because i would have to wait 2 years to go to FT and then continue 2 years as an POC and that would have been way to much money for school and also you need to at least be working on your bachelors for one year while being a POC.
I would like to know if there is a way to go back to FT next year?

Unless someone here can definitively say "no", I don't think anyone here can help you. Your best bet is to talk with your cadre.
 
I don't know the answer for the questions you ask, but I'm thinking there is always an appeal process to a decision like this one. It sounds like your circumstances may be worth an appeal effort .... I agree with Kinnem, visit your cadre and learn what the appeal process is. And 'listen' ... you my learn there are more 'facts' than you may be aware of. In an appeal process one should be prepared to address the obvious issues AND the obscure issues. Make that appointment now, and good luck.
 
I agree with others about talking to your cadre. The fact is though you need to ask if the board would select you again next yr. You would def. need to have your CoC to support you 100% and place you at the top of his rankings since that is 50% of the selection.
 
As others have said, ask your cadre, it is the only chance you have. However, I would also start preparing yourself for the probable outcome that your ROTC career is finished. In this military climate, they are often looking for reasons to keep numbers down, not ways to keep cadets that they feel have some blemishes.

By way of encouragement, I am aware of several NROTC MIDN who over the years failed USMC OCS. One of them one allowed to repeat it after his graduation. There is hope, but as Moosetache (I want to stroke mine whenever I see his user name) has said, times are different now. Good luck! :thumb:
