I completed my applications to USMA and USNA in late August. After submitting my medical records for a remedial, I was disqualified from both academies at the end of August. Within days, USNA granted me a waiver without any further action from me. Since then I received an LOA from USNA and a LOE from USMA. However, there has been no change on my medical status with USMA. They should have all of my medical records as they were submitted to DoDMERB. Is there something I should be doing to encourage the waiver from USMA? Do they have a reputation of taking longer for a waiver?

There is nothing for you to do but sit back and enjoy the ride. USMA will initiate the waiver process, or not, whenever it feels like it. Be thankful you have the waiver and LOA from USNA. I would be busy pursuing the nominations for both at this point and not be worried about the waiver. It will come through or it won't.

Thank you for your response. You are correct that I need to just relax and wait to see what happens with the USMA. Good advice but sometimes difficult to follow.
