NROTC interviews & gov't shutdown

DS has his interview and fitness test scheduled at the recruiting office on Friday. Does anyone have insight on the likeliness of this happening or is it dependent on each district/office? Seems to me like this would be a non-essential function....even if it doesnt feel that way to us.

I expect it will go ahead as it is normally AD personnel doing this and they are funded. Call the recruiting office to confirm, but unless you hear otherwise you should assume the interview will go ahead. Good luck to your son. :thumb: I assume he's going Marine Option since he is doing the fitness test?
