Will USNA admissions board will be meeting each Thursday to review candidate applications during the government shutdown, or does everything stop?

Let's just have a Shut Down thread, and stop branching out with 20 threads starting with "Shutdown" and following up with "Sports" or "Admissions" or "Nominations" or "DoDMERB".....

Admissions board made up of mostly military officers

Looked at the list of people on the admissions board and it is mostly military people. Understand the voting process is a simple majority, so best estimate is they will still continue to meet.

Not sure what USNA will end up doing, but I would say there is minimal impact due to designation of alternate Admission Board members (normally all military).

Where did you find a list of those on the board?

Googled it.

one of the hits for USNA admissions board. Took a little looking but it is out there. I believe the exact list was last years, but they have multiple year terms and the general make-up of regular/military is what was looking for, to see how the gov't shut down would impact the functioning of the board.
