So I am taking my first pft for arotc tomorrow consisting of the push-ups, sit-ups, and the 1 mile run. For the sake of making sure it is administered fairly, I was wondering how exactly it would go? On the test sheet it gives directions on how to do each event but nothing else. I know the order of events is Push-ups, sit-ups, and 1 mile run. But what is like the break time in-between each event, and are there are any things that could disqualify me? Thanks! And can a friend run with me to help keep my pace?

The coach who administers the Presidential Physical Fitness Test (that is the standard they use IIRC) should have all that information in the packet they are to fill out. There are time limits between events and there is not a limit as to how many participants can take the test at one time, so I would say have your friend take the test along side.
